We have often read about the Pullman on the Park in this forum, and being in Melbourne for a concert we chose the Pullman for our one night stay. What a wonderful revelation this hotel is! On our arrival, although early and not having any expectation of our room being available the delightful Mardi at reception went above and beyond to make us welcome and to offer us access to the Lounge whilst we waited if we wished to. The stay only got better! We went to the lounge and felt immediately at home with coffee and pastries available. The view over the MCG with the tennis centre beyond was spectacular. The lounge was comfortable and a wonderful place to revisit for canapés and drinks in the evening. The lovely staff, Pirapon, made sure that my wife who is a coeliac had options from the canapés to enjoy and even asked the kitchen to prepare something extra for her. Our corner room was a wonderful upgrade, offered by Mardi on the 15th floor with wonderful views over Fitzroy gardens and the city of Melbourne beyond. The bed was excellent and very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom to really make us feel completely spoilt. We dined for lunch and breakfast at Cliveden the restaurant on the ground floor. Once again we were welcomed by another kind and welcoming member of the hotel. Sri was brilliant and as with Mardi and Pirapon, very focused on our well being and a desire to make us as comfortable and as welcome as possible. Needless to say we had a brilliant stay at the Pullman and will be returning time and time again we can safely say. The welcome, the dining experience, the executive lounge and our room were beyond all our expectations. Particularly when we were only staying for a night using our free night as members of ACCOR. To also be offered an upgrade was the icing on the cake. As a couple we very much appreciate being ALL ACCOR club members and particularly appreciate how lucky we are to be able to access such wonderful hotels both here in Australia and abroad. We do not take this for granted. Congratulations to the Pullman on the Park for having such a marvelous team and to the manager Glen Erickson who left us a welcome note and bottle of wine, Thank you! We will be back. Often!

Pullman Melbourne on the Park Used out suite upgrades for a lovely stay in a superior suite with corner views of the City and parks on the executive floor The Executive lounge was great, you are able to access it anytime during the day for tea , coffee or soft drinks with a few snacks and cakes. Canapé hour starts at 5.30pm which suited us for a quick drink and snack before heading out to the Melbourne comedy festival. Drinks included a variety of beer , white and red wines and spirits for making mixed drinks. Loved having Bombay sapphire to make a nice G &T. Snacks included a selection of dips, charcuterie and cheeses , sushi, bread rolls and crackers and 3 hot snacks. The Cliveden served a delicious buffet breakfast. The pastries and jam donuts ( my favorite) were absolutely amazing. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool. We really enjoyed our stay here.

I was told on check-in that I had an upgrade under my Accor membership. I was put in a room with an interconnecting door and heard absolutely everything from next door all night through the interconnecting door and as a consequence had a terrible sleep. I was fully unpacked (and too tired) by the time the person entered the room next door and started on their phone - otherwise I woudl have called to be moved.
