At the most recent global meeting of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society in Deauville, France, Pullman hosted an exhibition of portraits of women around the globe by Dutch photographer Robert van der Hilst. The Pullman brand is building a contemporary art collection and Van der Hilst’s photographs are part of this collection. At the conference, Van der Hilst discussed his latest project, which has led him to travel throughout China to make portraits of Chinese women (“the backbone of their society”) in their homes.
Conferences, workshops and talks
At the community level, Pullman has partnered with the Internet portal aufeminin.com to sponsor networking events for women in various French cities and in various Pullman hotels. These ”Rencontres“ gather “High Potential” women to participate in training workshops and round tables while inviting women from the public at large to attend talks with high-profile speakers. Recent examples include the Femmes et Réussites (Women and Success) conference in November 2013 at the Pullman Paris Montparnasse hotel, and the Femmes en Sciences et Technologies (Women in the Sciences and Technology) event in December at the Pullman Toulouse Centre.
Group-wide mentoring programme
Pullman’s initiatives on behalf of women and women’s issues are consistent with Accor’s commitment to promoting diversity for all of the group’s hotel brands. Accor, the world’s leading hotel operator, believes a woman’s place is in the boardroom. The goal is to boost the proportion of female general managers in the group’s hotels and resorts from 27% (as of 2012) to 35% by 2015. To support this commitment, Accor launched its international women’s network – Women at Accor Generation (WAAG) – in 2012. Today, WAAG is active in more than 60 countries and already has a membership of more than 1,500 women and men worldwide. Chaired by Sophie Stabile, Accor’s Global Chief Financial Officer, WAAG develops initiatives that are rolled out collectively and coordinated locally by nine regional leaders in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, North America, Latin America, Southern Europe, Northern, Eastern and Central Europe, and France. To foster dialogue and encourage women to feel more confident, this network is sharing experiences through “role model” testimonials, organising one-to-one support through mentoring programmes and providing training and networking opportunities. WAAG hopes to have 3,000 members and action plans and workgroups deployed on five continents by the end of 2015.

Having the lush green expanse of Ibirapuera Park just downstairs, travelers could forget the hotel also happens to be within easy reach of São Paulo’s main business and entertainment centres.
All rooms in the hotel offer breathtaking views of Ho Chi Minh City, but the view from the Cobalt rooftop restaurant, can’t be beaten.
The hotel is directly opposite Hyde Park and bang in the city center, so you won't have far to go if your interest tends to theatres, museums, shopping or bar-hopping.
